Four tips from across Europe

The Football League play-offs are well underway in England and today pits League One’s representatives together for their Wembley showpiece.

The Coral News Team’s three other picks are from a little further afield. The Spanish second division is nearing its conclusion whilst the Norwegian Eliteserien is beginning to take shape.

Shrewsbury to beat Rotherham – 11/5

They finished the season third and fourth in League One and quite fittingly meet each other in the play-off final.

Rotherham are looking for an immediate return to Championship football.

Whilst Shrewsbury were rock bottom of League One when manager Paul Hurst took over in 2016.

Both sides took three points off each other this season, but Shrewsbury could nick this one at Wembley.

Sporting Gijon to beat Granada – 3/4

Two games remain in the Spanish Segunda with the promotion race still alive.

Gijon currently sit in third place and five points off automatic promotion.

They will want to keep the pressure on in case Real Vallecano slip up.

Ruben Baraja’s men face a Granada team already on their holidays and will be hoping to rack up a big score here.

Rosenborg to beat Brann – 3/4

After ten games is when you see who really might last the distance. Rosenborg in second meet first placed Brann in this top of the table clash.

Brann have got off to a great start this campaign but this is the first real test of their mettle.

Rosenborg are defending champions and have the know-how. They come into this game off three straight wins.

It could be four come Sunday night.

Ranheim to beat Bodo/Glimt – 12/5

The team directly below the top two are newly-promoted Ranheim.

The surprise package of the season so far have picked up eleven points in their last five games, only a point behind Rosenborg.

They have carried their momentum into this season thanks to Mads Reginiussen’s seven goals.

Bodo/Glimt are struggling at the wrong end of the table with only two wins in eleven games.

Ranheim will believe they can pick up another valuable three points.
